About the English Civil War Society

The main aim of the English Civil War Society is to stimulate interest in the authentic re-creation of seventeenth century military life in Britain, and in so doing we endeavour to entertain and instruct our own members and the visitors to our events. We do this by continually striving for historical authenticity in our clothing, artifacts, methods, weapons and tactics.

Upcoming Events

The next six events in our diary can be viewed by clicking on Events List under Features on the main menu bar above. A month by month calendar of events for the full year is also available.
